During our trip along Highway 1 in northern California, our visit to this peaceful park of giant redwoods was awe-inspiring and humbling. The scenic 32 mile Avenue of the Giants meanders through this redwood forest with several groves to explore. We stopped at The Founders Grove and strolled leisurely, having it all to ourselves to enjoy the quiet beauty within. The park is home to some of the world's most ancient redwood groves and the forest floor is a magical ecosystem.
